The Gowanus Canal Conservancy is happy to announce its first annual Spring Forward fundraiser – an evening of down-home barbeque, craft beer, and local bands on the Gowanus Canal.

Date: Wednesday, June 6

Time: 6:30pm-10:30pm

Location: The Green Building: 452 Union Street, Brooklyn.

Spring Forward will feature delicious barbeque by chefs from some of our favorite South Brooklyn purveyors of fine food: Applewood, Brooklyn Cured, Lot 2, and Mile End Delicatessen. The bar will be curated by Beer Table, offering beer from Twelve

Percent Imports and American Beer Distributors, as well as wine from Red Hook Winery. Music will begin at 8:00pm, with live performances from local favorites Dawn Landes, The Jack Grace Band, and Diamond Doves.

Proceeds from Spring Forward will directly benefit the Gowanus Canal Conservancy, specifically assisting with our Clean & Green Volunteer Program, Composting and Rain Garden projects. Tickets are $55 (includes barbeque dinner, two beers, and concert). Additional beer will be available for sale.
